Life is hard without technology.

Our computer has broke. All the way. I can use my iPad for most Internet needs. However, I can not share any of my precious photos from Christmas!! Ugh!!

We had a wonderful Christmas! We shared the story of Jesus over and over with our girls. He is the perfect gift. The reason we celebrate! We spent time in church, with family. We watched White Christmas more than you could ever imagine! (it's the best Christmas movie & our family favorite!!) We filled our living room with wrapping paper as the girls tore into their presents. And I mean TORE. INTO. They had a big gift this year, a hot pink jeep. And if my computer worked there would be pictures galore inserted *here*!!

I'm so thankful for my Savior. Thank you, God, for your perfect gift. For my husband & precious children. For my family & sweet friends. This was a wonderful Christmas!

"Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord." Luke 2:11

I am so mad I can't share photos!! As soon as my computer is up & running I will have a post full of brightly colored Christmas photos :)

Sweet Day

Madeline woke up a little early from her nap today. She has some pretty sharp teeth coming out and I'm pretty sure she is trying to fight the cold that Isabelle just got over. I'm praying it's just the teeth - colds tend to linger in our home.

Isabelle has caught a croup cough from her last cold. It's absolutely terrible! She sounds horrible and can't play for more than a few minutes without having a cough attack. Not being able to play is pretty hard on a three year old. We've still had a fun day, even with the croup cough. We spent our morning at 'Kids Club' - a.k.a. the gym, for Mommy. When I picked them up, Madeline was playing kitchen with another little boy & Isabelle was at a table hogging all the crayons to color a Dora coloring page. This told me she was feeling rough, before dropping her off I told her to sit down and color if she started coughing and having a "hard time" as she says. When we got to the car, her first words were, "Mommy, my had a hard time in there. My was coughing really bad. But my o.k. now!"

We finished our morning with a play date at Chic-fil-a with Isabelle's best-friend, (besides Jesus & Madeline, of course :)) Lily. Isabelle was so excited to see her, she gave her a big hug and said, "Lily, you are my best friend!" I wish I had pictures to insert into this post, but my camera and phone were not with me today. They were so sweet today! I especially love these play dates because I get to spend time with a dear friend of mine as well. Sometimes, Mommies need play dates as much as the kiddos :)

The rest of our day hasn't been as exciting, but still wonderful. We played games, sang a few songs & we acted silly - then played clean up and the girls climbed into their beds for nap time.

I'm so thankful for my blessings. Today has been so sweet :)

Daddy

We've had three whole days with Daddy. He's been home with us all weekend. It's just been so nice :)

I'll share more about our weekend in another post. I just wanted to share this sweet, sweet photo that was taken tonight. Daddy played Candy Land with the girls before bed time.

Have a wonderful week :)

Testing. Testing.

Just testing a mobile post.

Here is Isabelle, hanging with her good friend Lily :)

Happy Fall

Our house smells clean. One of my favorite smells.

It also smells like blueberry cheesecake - one of my favorite Scentsy scents.

It is warm and cozy, the heat is running strong on this cold, windy day. I need to learn how to turn on our fireplace, today is a perfect day.

The only sounds I hear are the crowd and ref whistles from the ECU game (go Pirates!) playing in our living room.

Isabelle & Madeline are sleeping snug, like bugs in a rug with their rain mates humming.

The grill is fired up. My husband is preparing the meat for dinner and it's now my turn to prepare the rest.

We have family coming to eat & watch football.

A perfect Fall Saturday. :)

Just a random photo. They emptied the toy box and squeezed in there with their baby dolls. They make me laugh :)

Dancing in their costumes before trunk or treat. They're the cutest bumble bee & peacock I've ever seen. :)
